KFC has taken aim at McDonald’s via social media, aping Donald Trump's ‘my nuclear button is bigger than your button’ message to Kim Jong-un.

The former’s UK and Ireland Twitter account tweeted last week that its burger was larger than those on offer at McDonald's. "McDonald's leader Ronald just stated he has a 'burger on his desk at all times'," it stated. "Will someone from his big shoed, red nosed regime inform him that I too have a burger on my desk, but mine is a box meal which is bigger and more powerful than his, and mine has gravy! #nuclearbutton"

No response from McDonald's thus far, although KFC's tweet was shared more than 180,000 times and liked 475,000-plus times within 48 hours. This isn’t the first time it has been a hit on social media. Click here for further details.
