These retailers and brands are leading the way in the blockchain space.

1. Starbucks

Cryptocurrency custody and futures trading platform Bakkt is developing a consumer payments app and merchant portal. It is currently testing this with launch partner Starbucks.

2. Topco Associates

Topco Associates, a US food cooperative, is to pilot Mastercard’s blockchain tech in its supply chain. 

It will test out a traceability platform developed by logistics firm Envisible. The Wholechain platform is based on Mastercard’s blockchain-based Provenance solution. 

3. My Net Doctor

UK-based online pharmacy My Net Doctor is set to implement MediConnect’s blockchain solution.

4. Cencosud

SUKU has announced a ‘milestone’ partnership with Latin American retailer Centros Comerciales Sudamericanos (Cencosud). 

5. Coca-Cola

Coke One North America (CONA) - the company that manages IT operations for Coca-Cola’s bottlers - is tapping a blockchain solution developed by SAP to manage its supply chain.
