Will Jones, former IT Director at The Book Depository, has launched logpile.com.

A firewood and logs producer and retailer, the venture is aiming to disrupt the entire industry.

Jones also founded online bookseller wordery.com and has worked at Waterstones as E-commerce IT Manager and at John Lewis as Project Manager, responsible for a range of developments on the retailer’s website and backend systems.

“With a stated vision to be employee owned from the outset and with a desire to be unique in the industry, logpile.com is passionate about logs, firewood, carbon negativity and employee owned sustainable businesses,” Jones says.
